SUMMARY OF OUR JOB DESCRIPTION

SatADSL offers multi-satellites communication services and solutions, for small businesses to large corporates in

  • Sub-Saharan Africa,
  • Middle-East
  • and central Asia.

SatADSL sells its services through a distribution network of African telecom operators and Internet Service Providers (ISPs)

  1. owning local licences,
  2. installing satellite terminals
  3. and providing after-sales service.

SatADSL has currently about 64 local partners in 33 countries mainly in Africa.

In parallel, SatADSL is developing a network of specialized partners in different vertical markets like

  • eLearning,
  • ERP,
  • banks,
  • micro-finance,
  • radio/TV,
  • etc.

We are looking to add to our Commercial team a Senior Sales who will actively assist the commercial team to develop SatADSL’s current specialized network.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE SENIOR SALES POSITION

  • Identify the various vertical markets likely to benefit from the satellite to develop their own business in Africa.
  • Understand the business process in the different vertical markets.
  • Identify the vertical market leaders in the different regions.
  • Establish business partnership with the main leaders.
  • Recommend full networking solutions including both connectivity and IT configuration (routers, VPN, monitoring…)
  • Conclude actual sales with customers
  • Perform sales projection, set goals and implement tools to follow-up and achieve agreed goals.
  • Produce market/competition surveys
  • Update and produce sales and marketing material

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SENIOR SALES POSITION

  • Minimum of 5 years proven commercial (marketing & sales) experience in the field of telecommunications services and/or Internet Service Provision
  • Experience in satellite telecommunications would be appreciated
  • Experience in IT (routers, VPN…)
  • Experience in establishing business partnerships is expected.
  • Experience with African countries would be highly appreciated.
  • Proven successes in similar business development are a must.
  • Expertise in developing business plans and monitoring actual data.
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative, able to work independently within a “mature start-up” ambiance are mandatory requirements
  • University Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing or Telecom Engineering.
  • Languages: French and English fluent (written and spoken).
